Service Description

This course thoughtfully delves into the profound impact of implicit bias on an individual's access to critical, life-saving aid. We will critically examine the concerning disparities in survival rates for women, often stemming from cultural sensitivities surrounding the body. Through hands-on practice with mannequins representing women of color, our aim is to foster a desensitization to stigma, enhance comfort levels, and ultimately contribute to a significant improvement in the survival rates for all individuals, particularly women and people of color experiencing cardiac arrest.  This course covers CPR & AED for Adult, Child, and Infant. E-Card through the American Heart Association is provided upon successful completion of the course. We do offer scholarships when needed, please reach out. Our priority is accessibility.
